  • How is a ceramic coating package applied?

    The first step to applying a ceramic coating is to decontaminate the surfaces of your car, truck, or SUV. Our professional technicians at Auto Aesthetic use a two-bucket method to thoroughly remove any contaminants such as bug splatters, bird droppings, and any visible or microscopic particles of dirt that remain. We then go over all areas with a clay bar to remove any remaining contaminants to leave a smooth, glass-like surface.  After your vehicle exterior is in perfect condition, our team hand applies the liquid ceramic coating and allows it to cure into a hard, protective layer.

  • How long do ceramic coatings last for?

    The lifespan of our CCI Ceramic Coatings depends on the package you select, the specific type of coating applied, and how well it is maintained with regular detailing. Our Level 1 CeramicThe lifespan of our CCI Ceramic Coating Revolution product is 6+ years. This ultimately comes down to how much a vehicle is driven, whether it's kept inside or outside, and how it is cared for. The coating we use was tested against 200 other popular coatings on the market and it outperformed everyone in terms of longevity.


    Here's something most people don't know! When coatings list the number of years they last that number is until there is nothing left on the surface. However, you will start to notice the effects of a coating disappear once 40% of it is left. Not ours. The year rating of CCI Revolution was set once it hit 40% remaining. This means that it has a more truly listed longevity rating, pending how its cared for like any other coating. Coating package uses a Ceramic Coating formula with up to 1 year of protection, but our Level 2 and Level 3 packages utilize C and various other glass and trim formulas that protects and defends surfaces for a maximum of 5 years.

  • How do I wash my vehicle if it has a ceramic coating?

    Only wash with soft, microfiber towels and delicate techniques, as any aggressive soaps or abrasive towels can and WILL cause scratches in the coating’s surface. It is important to remember that public car washes, especially either soft touch or touchless car washes  WILL cause scratches and various other defects or discrepancies in your ceramic coating and ultimately reduce its effectiveness.

  • Does a ceramic coating protect against scratches and dents at all?

    While our CCI Ceramic Coatings are naturally hard and designed to protect your vehicle against many ailments such as staining and UV damage, they are NOT resistant to scratching, dents, or other physical impact damage that occurs while driving or parked. To ensure the continued resilience of the ceramic coating, be sure to store vehicles in an area that will reduce the possibility of scratches or defects.
